If you are a business owner, your USGBC Membership at the national level will quickly pay for itself since all your employees will have access to the same treasure trove of information, national program offerings, conferences and product discounts as you do. But to be effective and truly transformative right here in Rhode Island, Chapter Membershipis the key. You’ll have year-long access to educational seminars,  trainings, LEED workshops, exam prep sessions, green building tours, plus invaluable networking opportunities and special events. We are also building a virtual green marketplace to help you locate verifiable green products, peruse an inventory of LEED project profiles plus access to trusted service providers and professional practitioners.

New USGBC Members Print E-mail

To become a new USGBC Member, go directly to the USGBC website to Join; you’ll be guided through a set of steps that will allow your company, institution or organization to become a  USGBC Member using a credit card, which is the fastest and best method for payment. Categories are based on the size and type of the organization. A less swift but alternative to credit is an invoicing and check-mailing procedure.
 
No Organizational Affiliation? Print E-mail
If your organization is not yet a member, join the Rhode Island Chapter as an Individual Member  ($65 per year and $25 for students) and be entitled to local program discounts and privileges including voting on Chapter business at the annual membership meeting. Joining online is best, or you can choose to mail in a hard copy application.

Existing USGBC Members Print E-mail

For existing USGBC Members, you and your employees are encouraged to join the local chapter (just $45.50 per year and $26 for students) using the same USGBC online membership system but selecting the Individual Chapter option instead. Alternately, you can sign up electronically on the chapter website or send in a check using a paper application ($50 per year and $25 for students). Please refer to the Useful Guides section on this webpage before using the USGBC site.
